Have you ever seen the “Milky Way”?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is said that it is now impossible to see the Milky Way in 70% of Japan.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Starry Sky Sanctuary” is a certification given to initiatives such as measures and education to protect and preserve the natural night sky, free from the effects of light pollution, conducted by the American NPO “Dark Sky International.”<\/span><\/span> It’s a system.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Certification requires efforts such as local outdoor lighting standards and local awareness activities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The efforts of the Starry Sky Sanctuary will not only help protect the dark night sky, but will also help protect wildlife and reduce CO2 emissions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
