When will the \u201cNew Auto Campsite\u201d open?<\/dt>\n
The former free campsite \u201cHoshi no Hiroba\u201d will be renewed and reborn as an Auto Campsite!
\nThe grand opening is scheduled for Spring 2026. Please wait a little longer.<\/p>\n

What can I do at the \u201cFormer Auto Campsite\u201d?<\/dt>\n
The former auto campsite was renovated and reopened in July 2025 as \u201cHoshi no Cottage.\u201d
\nTwo cottages with private terraces and gardens are now available.<\/p>\n

Are pets allowed?<\/dt>\n
This park is adjacent to a World Natural Heritage area.
\nTo protect the precious wildlife of Yanbaru, pets are not permitted.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Is it allowed to collect plants or living creatures?<\/dt>\n
Collection is strictly prohibited.
\nWhen you find beautiful plants or creatures, you may feel tempted to take them home. However, if each visitor takes even one item, the impact accumulates significantly. To preserve this forest for future generations, please refrain from collecting anything.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Can I pay by credit card on site?<\/dt>\n
Credit cards and electronic payments are accepted for purchases at the reception building.

Can I pay for accommodation on site?<\/dt>\n
All accommodation reservations require advance payment.
\nReservations can be made via the website until 12:00 PM on the day before your stay. Same-day reservations are not accepted.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Can vehicles enter the campsite?<\/dt>\n
\u25a0 <Mori no Hiroba> \u2192 Vehicle entry is not permitted.
\nPlease park in the adjacent parking area and unload your gear there.<\/p>\n

\nPlease unload at the unloading area and then park in the designated camp deck parking lot.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

We are arriving in multiple cars. Is parking available?<\/dt>\n
\u2022 Dedicated parking spaces are provided for each accommodation and campsite.
\n\u2022 Visitors without overnight stays should use the general parking lot.
\n\u2022 Overnight guests should follow parking instructions given at check-in.
\n\u2022 When arriving with multiple vehicles per reservation, all vehicles except the representative\u2019s car should be parked in the general parking lot.

How many tents can be set up at one campsite?<\/dt>\n
\u25a0 <Mori no Hiroba> \u2192 There is no strict limit.
\nPlease be considerate of other guests.
\nThis is a free site without marked boundaries; please use approximately 10m x 10m per group.<\/p>\n

\u25a0 <Camp Deck> \u2192 No strict limit, but this area is for solo or duo use (capacity: 2 people).
\nPlease ensure your tent fits within the deck area.

Do the showers have hot water?<\/dt>\n
Yes, hot water showers are available.
\nThere are three shower rooms each for men and women.
\nWater temperature can be adjusted collectively.
\nFor overnight guests, shower use is included in the accommodation fee and available 24 hours (from check-in to check-out).
\nDay-use visitors are charged an additional fee; please contact the management office in advance.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Is there a convenience store nearby?<\/dt>\n
Yes, there is one along National Route 58, about a 10-minute drive away.

Is campfire allowed?<\/dt>\n
<Permitted Areas> \u2192 Mori no Hiroba, Hoshi no Cottage (lawn area), Bungalows (near outdoor bench tables), Tree Houses (under the eaves), and Mori no Cabin (using designated fire pits).
\nTo prevent ground damage, please use a fire pit and fireproof sheet.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Can I use fallen wood as firewood? Is firewood sold?<\/dt>\n
Using fallen wood as firewood is not permitted.
\nFallen trees serve as habitats and food sources for wildlife and are an important part of the forest ecosystem.
\nPlease bring your own firewood or purchase it at the reception building.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

How is mobile phone reception?<\/dt>\n
Reception varies by carrier and location.
\nOverall, au and docomo networks work well in main facilities.
\nSoftBank and Rakuten networks may have weaker reception.
\nSome areas have no signal at all.
\nCurrently, Wi-Fi is available only in Bungalows, but Wi-Fi areas will be expanded and announced on our website and Instagram.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Is day-use available?<\/dt>\n
Yes, day-use is available.
\nWalking trails and gazebos are open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
\nSome accommodation-priority areas may require a fee depending on use. Please inquire at the park reception.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Can I walk around early in the morning or at night?<\/dt>\n
Outside opening hours (6:00 PM \u2013 9:00 AM), the park is reserved for overnight guests and guided tour participants only.
\nVisitors may join the \u201cForest Exploration Night Tour.\u201d

Can I enjoy stargazing without staying overnight?<\/dt>\n
From 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM, the park is reserved for overnight guests and tour participants.
\nOnly the general parking area is accessible.
